THE CHALLENGE: These painted windows in the kitchen of a historical home needed softening without covering the woodwork or blocking the view of the garden and yard (see photo at left).
THE SOLUTION: Soft striped sheers with tassel trim hung on minimalist rods are reminiscent of a country farmhouse and compliment the stencil trim and window panes (see photo below). They let in natural light without obstructing the picturesque view.
